Bulgaria issued 11 784 first residence permits in 2021 – Eurostat
Bulgaria issued 11 784 first residence permits in 2021, according to figures published on August 9 by European Union statistics agency Eurostat.
This is an increase compared with the 10 267 in 2020 – when, as Eurostat points out, figures were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic – but is still lower than the 13 500 issued in 2019.
