Eustream asks EC for support

Slovakia may receive some funds for its gas projects from the European Commission. The country’s gas transporter Eustream has requested co-financing for the construction of the Slovak-Polish gas pipeline, and also for a grant to co-finance a feasibility study on the Eastring gas pipeline project, the SITA newswire reported.

The call of the company, owned by the Czech energy group Energetický a Průmyslový Holding (EPH) and the Slovak state, has also been supported by other affected countries, namely Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
