Bulgaria issues weather warnings for December 26 over forecasts of strong wind, heavy rain
Bulgaria’s national meteorological bureau has issued the Code Orange warning of hazardous weather for two districts for December 26 because of forecast heavy rain and strong wind.
The two districts are Bourgas and Haskovo.
The lesser Code Yellow warning of potentially hazardous weather has been issued for several districts for December 26.
In the case of Blagoevgrad, Kurdzhali, Yambol, Varna, Dobrich, Silistra, Razgrad, Shoumen, Turgovishte and Sliven, it has been issued because of forecast strong wind.
The districts of Veliko Turnovo, Gabrovo and Lovech are subject to the Code Yellow warning because of forecast heavy snow.
