Czech president Zeman claims his views are vindicated
Czech President Miloš Zeman claims that the New Year’s Eve attacks against women vindicate his negative point of view on refugees coming to Europe, according to his spokesman Jiří Ovčáček.
The spokesman at a press conference said that the president’s concerns about anti-social behavior of migrants have been proven to be valid.
“The people behind these attacks should immediately be repatriated,” Ovčáček said, giving the president’s point of view.
Zeman was heavily criticized by his opponents for attending a xenophobic rally on November 17, 2015, which was a national holiday marking the Velvet Revolution.
