Refugee crisis in Macedonia continues
Large numbers of refugees from the Middle East are continuing to come into Macedonia. According to the Ministry of Interior, last week more than 2000 refugees have travelled to Serbia through Macedonia. But, according to a detailed report by the ministry, since the start of 2015 until June, more than 51 000 refugees have entered the country.
Only 49 emigrants from Syria and Somalia have sought asylum, while the rest have travelled to other European destinations.
Refugees are temporarily stationed in the refugee accommodation centre in Gevgeli and then through organised transport, travel to the border region of Tabanoc at the frontier with Serbia.
