British Residence in Sofia to hold Open Day on June 7
In celebration of its centenary, an Open Day is being held at the British Residence in Sofia on June 7 2014 from 10am to 4pm.
Entrance is free, and visitors will be able to stroll the main reception rooms and the garden, enjoy a tea shop selling traditional British tea and cake – proceeds to charity – and see an exhibition of historic photos of the building. Other attractions include performances of works by Shakespeare.
The day includes the launch of a book about the Residence.
