Poland needs to prepare for a major “correction” in the geopolitical situation, PM Donald Tusk said on March 17 at a meeting with regional authority heads, referring to the Ukrainian-Russian crisis.
“In the face of the Ukrainian crisis also Poland must be ready for dark scenarios,” Tusk said.
As is customary every month, the Polish PM with met regional authority heads on Monday. He said that when there is so much tension across Poland’s eastern border a lot depends on the local officials.
“We have to review all the procedures, reserves and supplies together in the context of threats that can result from escalation of the Eastern conflict, including larger wave of migrants,” Tusk said.
