US Army sends military equipment to Romania

Romania is about to host a transport of US military equipment destined to the rotational force in the region. About 70 pieces of military equipment will arrive today in Romania from Germany to support Operation Atlantic Resolve training and exercises to increase the collective defense of NATO allies.

Earlier this year, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter announced that the U.S. will temporarily stage enough vehicles and associated equipment in Central and Eastern Europe to support an armored brigade combat team.
