Czech police accuse two men of attempting to bomb Prague – Varna bus
Czech police have accused two men of attempting to firebomb a bus going between Prague and Varna, Bulgaria, on May 16.
The suspects, aged 26 and 29, remain in custody. They face eight to 15 years in prison if found guilty of endangering the safety of the public.
The motive of the crime is not clear because the suspects have not been cooperative. The attempted bombing may be part of a conflict between international bus operators, police organised crime unit spokesman Pavel Hanták said on the police website.
