Turkish tanks take up positions at the Syrian border
The situation at Turkey’s border with Syria is tense, with the Jihadists continuing their advance to the town of Kobani.
Dozens of tanks of the Turkish army have taken positions at “point zero” with the Syrian border, since three mortar shells have hit Turkish territory and the besieged city Kobani is just five km from the border.
The Turkish Armed Forces announced that they responded with gunfire. Residents of the Turkish territories near the Syrian border fear a possible surprise invasion by ISIS inside Turkish territory.
