No more hidden fees: Airlines forced to be upfront with pricing

Airlines across Europe have been forced to change their booking systems to make “hidden fees” more obvious to customers during online booking, the UK Office of Fair Trading (OFT) announced on Thursday.

Wizz Air, Ryanair, easyJet and nine other European airlines are affected by the decision. It will ensure that the extra booking fees will be shown up front when the flight is chosen rather than when the booking process is in its final stages, according to OFT.
