What’s On: One Dance Week in Plovdiv from August 28 to September 6
One Dance Week, which includes some of the most up-to-date and progressive dance companies and choreographers from the global dance scene, is being held in Bulgaria’s second city Plovdiv from August 28 to September 6 2014.
This is the seventh year the Dance Week is being held, but this first time that it will be in Plovdiv, like its fellows such as Design Week having changed cities this year.
The festival includes an “international selection”, a Bulgarian showcase of current developments in the domestic contemporary dance scene, a programme for children, open-air events, film screenings, “dance ateliers” for professionals and students, as well as lectures and discussions involving the audience.
