Remembrance Day commemorated in Sofia: Photo Gallery

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them

On November 11 2012, diplomatic representatives of countries that were involved in the world wars of the 20th century gathered at the military section of Sofia Central Cemetery to pay their respects in a commemoration of Remembrance Day.

Countries represented at the ceremonies by their diplomats included the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United States, South Africa, Serbia, Croatia and Greece. Bulgarian officers also paid their respects.
