Dangerous weather warning issued for all of Bulgaria over sizzling temperatures

The Code Orange warning of dangerous weather has been issued for all of Bulgaria for July 12 because of forecast high temperatures.

A maximum temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius is forecast for July 12 for Rousse, Sandanski, Pleven, Yambol and Kurdzhali.

For Plovdiv, Vidin, Montana, Silistra and Veliko Turnovo, the forecast high on Friday is 39 deg C.

The forecast for Bulgaria’s capital city Sofia for July 12 is a maximum 35 deg C, while on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, Varna and Bourgas are set for a maximum 32 deg C.

The sizzling weather is set to continue over the weekend.

On July 13, the forecast high for Rousse, Yambol and Sandanski is 41 deg C.

Silistra and Vidin are set for 40 deg C, and Plovdiv, Veliko Turnovo, Kurdzhali and Montana, 39 deg C.

On July 14, Sandanski will face a maximum high of 42 deg C, Pleven and Rousse 41 deg C, and Plovdiv, Veliko Turnovo, Vidin, Montana and Silistra 40 deg C, according to Bulgaria’s national weather bureau.
