Talks between Kosovo and Serbia heading towards an end
The new round of talks on the normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is expected to start in September 2018.
These talks are expected to mark the finalisation of a long process of negotiations, which may lead to a mutual recognition of the two countries.
For both countries, the agreement has been imposed as a condition for them to be able to advance in the process of European integration.
The president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci says that the finalisation of dialogue with Serbia should lead to a mutual recognition and Kosovo’s accession to international organisations.
