Annual IWC Sofia Charity Bazaar to be held on December 4 2016
The 22nd annual International Women’s Club Sofia Charity Bazaar is to be held on December 4 2016 from 10.30am to 7pm at the Inter Expo Centre in the Bulgarian capital.
Every year the Annual Charity Bazaar provides an opportunity for countries to proudly showcase their handmade crafts, music, souvenirs, folklore, national cuisine, clothing, literature, culture and tradition.
The 2015 Bazaar raised funds enabling the Charity Foundation of IWC-Sofia to fund 23 projects — four new and 18 ongoing projects.
The total amount of financial support was about 350 000 leva and it will affect the lives of more than 2500 people from the most vulnerable social groups in Bulgaria, according to organisers.
This year, more than 50 countries will be represented at the IWC Charity Bazaar.
Tickets, costing four leva, for the bazaar are on sale via ticketportal. Children younger than 10 enter free of charge. There are discounts for pupils aged 10 to 18 and for pensioners, with ticket prices of two leva.
