EU foreign policy chief visits Warsaw

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini visited Warsaw on June 2 to discuss the July Nato summit, EU sanctions on Russia and Eastern Partnership, among others.

Mogherini met President Andrzej Duda, PM Beata Szydlo and Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski.

Nato-EU co-operation is getting stronger, Waszczykowski said after the meeting with Mogherini. He said that they discussed in detail the upcoming EU Global Strategy being prepared by the EU head of diplomacy. It is important that the document will be published before the NATO Summit at the June European Council, he said.
