Bulgarian PM congratulates David Cameron on re-election victory

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borissov added his voice to the stream of messages from right-of-centre European leaders to congratulate British prime minister David Cameron on his general elections victory.

“This victory reflects the positive assessment and trust of the people of Britain in your successful performance as prime minister during a difficult time of great challenges to Europe and the world,” Borissov said, as quoted by the Cabinet’s media service.

“I use this opportunity to underline my conviction that the fruitful cooperation between our two countries, as well as our successful interaction within the framework of Nato and on issues on the European agenda, will continue to deepen and expand,” he said.
