Anti-Russian protests held in Warsaw on eve of Smolensk crash anniversary

About 1000 Poles protested in front of the Russian Embassy in Warsaw on April 9 2013, accusing Russia of foot-dragging on handing over to Poland evidence from investigation of the 2010 plane crash in Smolensk, Russia, that killed Polish president Lech Kaczynski and dozens of the Polish military and political elite.

Russian and Polish investigators have blamed pilot error for the crash, which occurred as the Russian-built Tupolev Tu-154 was trying to land in thick fog.
