Film Review: Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted
For some reason, they felt they needed to leave Africa. The various wild animals and former longtime inhabitants of Central Park Zoo spent their previous movie in Africa, and at the beginning of this new installment, they have had enough and yearn to return home.
The problem, besides there being no obvious reason they should want to go back home to the zoo instead of staying in the wild outdoors, a kingdom over which the central character, Alex, reigns by virtue of being a lion, is that their suited-up penguin friends are currently in Monaco. So, a quick detour to the Continent is the first leg of the trip back home; unfortunately for them, their arrival does not go unnoticed.
