Bulgaria’s September 2020 death toll higher by 452 y/y

A total of 7404 deaths were recorded in Bulgaria in September 2020, a total of 452 more than in September 2019, according to figures posted on October 6 by the National Statistical Institute.

This represents a continued reversal of the trend of earlier in 2020, when – for the first six months of this year – Bulgaria’s death toll was lower than in 2019.
