Bulgarian Foreign Ministry treats diplomats to train ride
Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry treated foreign diplomats accredited to the country to a ride on the narrow-gauge railway line between Septembri and Velingrad, the ministry said on September 12.
The ride was part of the foreign diplomatic corps’ annual tour of the country, the ministry said.
The diplomats’ tour is dedicated to the end of the first Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which was held in the first half of 2018.
According to the schedule, Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commission Representation head in Bulgaria Ognyan Zlatev and Velingrad mayor Kostadin Koev were to hold a public discussion with Velingrad residents on the future of Europe.
