Museum of the History of Polish Jews named European Museum of the Year
The Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw has won the prestigious European Museum of the Year award (EMYA), organized by the European Museum Forum (EMF) operating under the auspices of the Council of Europe.
Polin competed with 49 other candidates from 20 countries.
This is the first such distinction for a Polish institution in the 39-years-long history of the EMYA.
