Pub quiz raises funds for charity
The team of Philip Welsh of Trinity Corporate Services won the February 27 2013 pub quiz, organised by the Cedar Foundation in partnership with the Hilton in the Community Foundation and Cleves, taking away a 400 leva voucher for a sumptuous meal at the Este Restaurant in Iztok.
The event, at JJ Murphy’s, saw 10 teams competing and raised 1770 leva.
Competing teams included those from the Anglo American School, Dundee Precious Metals, Vivacom and The Sofia Hash House Harriers.
Prizes were sponsored by Cleves, Hilton Sofia, Vivacom, Domestic Bliss and Este Restaurant.
Proceeds from the event are going to The Cedar Foundation, which aims to give disadvantaged people in Bulgaria a better quality of life.
