Bulgaria’s Bansko resort opening 2015/16 ski season on December 12
The opening of the 2015/16 ski season at Bulgaria’s Bansko resort will be on December 12, beginning at 10am.
Festivities are to include music, dancing, and a “treasure hunt” in which the top prize will be an Audi A3.
Special guests at the opening ceremony are to include Austria’s Stephan “Steff” Eberharter, a former World Cup alpine ski racer, his compatriot and five-time World Cup overall champion Marc Girardelli and Bulgarian ski champion Petar Popangelov.
Bansko has increased its number of snow-making machines.
