Foreign visitor arrivals for holidays in Bulgaria in February 2026 up 2% y/y

The number of foreign visitor arrivals in Bulgaria for holidays in February 2026 was just more than two per cent higher than in February 2025, according to figures published by the National Statistical Institute (NSI) on March 30.

This follows an increase on an annual basis of 3.35 per cent in February 2025.

There were a total of 288 051 foreign visitor arrivals for holidays in February 2026.

The largest number came from Romania, 50 487, followed by Türkiye, 41 900, and Greece, 40 944.

Arrivals for holidays included 19 550 from North Macedonia, 26 818 from Serbia, 18 842 from the United Kingdom, 18 245 from Israel and 11 058 from Germany.
