Foreign visitor arrivals for holidays in Bulgaria in February 2025 up 3.35% y/y

The number of foreign visitor arrivals in Bulgaria for holidays in February 2025 was 3.35 per cent higher than in February 2024, according to figures published by the National Statistical Institute (NSI) on March 28.

In all, there were 282 371 arrivals of non-residents for holidays in Bulgaria in February 2025, the NSI said.

This is out of a total of 720 635 arrivals of non-residents in the second month of this year, with the remainder for business trips and other purposes.

Of the arrivals for holidays, the largest numbers were from Türkiye, 46 057, Romania, 44 625, Greece, 42 155, the United Kingdom, 30 261, North Macedonia, 20 792, Israel, 16 020, and Germany, 12 168.
