Bulgaria Air offers four daily flights between Sofia and Varna in summer 2026
National flag carrier Bulgaria Air said on May 26 that this summer it is offering four flights daily between capital city Sofia and Varna on the Black Sea coast.
The flight duration is about 50 minutes.
The first morning flight from Sofia departs at 7am, and the flight from Varna to the capital departs at 8.30am.
The next convenient flight from Sofia is at 9.50am, and from the seaside city at 11.20am.
Afternoon flights are scheduled for 3pm from Sofia and 4.30pm from Varna.
The evening flight to Varna is at 10.15pm and to Sofia at 10.15pm.

The direct route is operated with Bulgaria Air’s newest aircraft, the Airbus A220.
Each seat also features an individual USB port for charging electronic devices and a convenient tray table.
Economy class tickets to Varna include the right to carry carry-on luggage up to 10kg and an additional personal item (handbag or laptop). The fare also offers free online check-in, as well as in-flight catering with water, coffee, soft drinks, and a chocolate bar.
