Regular flights between Plovdiv and Tel Aviv to start
Regular flights between Bulgaria’s Plovdiv Airport and Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv start on March 23 2023, Plovdiv Airport said.
The flights, by Israel’s Arkia Airlines, will be twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays from March to October.
Up to now, Arkia operated charter flights from Tel Aviv landing at Plovdiv Airport on Thursdays and from Plovdiv to Ben Gurion International Airport on Sundays.
Arkia Airlines is the fourth airline that operates regular flights from Plovdiv Airport.
Since February, regular flights from Istanbul to Plovdiv and back twice a week have been operated by Pegasus Airlines.
Regular flights from Plovdiv to the German city of Memmingen and Luton and Stansted airports near London are operated by Ryanair and Wizzair airlines.
