Skopje hesitating over Nimetz-sponsored agreement struck in New York
Matthew Nimetz’s short announcement following the New York meeting on May 25 2018 did not record the reality of what happened at the negotiating table between Nikos Kotzias and Nikola Dimitrov in the presence of the UN Special Envoy.
According to IBNA exclusive, cross-checked information, the talks in New York culminated in a full agreement on the dispute between Athens and Skopje over the name “Macedonia”.
