Balkan Rakia Fest to be held at Sofia’s NDK December 2 – 4
The fourth annual Balkan Festival of Rakia and Spirits is to be held at the National Palace of Culture, NDK, in the Bulgarian capital Sofia from December 2 to 4 2016.
More than 250 brands of rakias and spirits will be presented at the event.
The 2015 festival drew close to 5000 visitors and more than 30 companies were involved, spurring organisers to continue with what they see as becoming a traditional event in Sofia.
At the request of visitors and exhibitors, the 2016 festival is a day longer than last year’s, and will be open from noon to 8pm.
The tipples at the event include rakias and spirits from Bulgaria, Greece, the Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia and other Balkan countries.
There will be master classes, lectures and tastings. Tickets are on sale via ticketpro.bg. Only people over 18 will be admitted.
