Poland revokes residence permit of Russian journalist
The governor of Poland’s Mazovian province, Jacek Kozlowski said Wednesday that a Russian journalist Leonid Sviridov, should be stripped of his right to remain in Poland and the European Union. following espionage allegations.
Kozlowski said that that after review of Sviridov’s classified file he agreed with the security agency’s assessment that Sviridov’s presence in Poland is harmful to the Polish state. Kozlowski said he cannot reveal any details for national security reasons, but that the evidence against Sviridov is “strong.”
