Film-maker Roman Polanski questioned in Poland over US extradition request

Polish prosecutors have interrogated Polish-born film director Roman Polanski in connection with a US extradition request over a 1977 sex with a minor case.

Polanski, director of such film classics like Rosemary’s Baby and Chinatown, has come to Poland this week for the opening of the History of Polish Jews Museum.

The United States asked the Polish prosecutor general to hold Polanski until he could be extradited, the daily Gazeta Wyborcza reported.
