Greeks remain pessimistic about the economy and labour market

Sixty-seven per cent of Greeks and 31 per cent of Europeans characterise the condition of their household poor to very poor, according to research conducted by the Eurobarometer, for the period May 31-June 14, which was released on July 25 in Brussels.

However, compared to the previous Eurobarometer in November the negative responses both in Greece, and the EU have dropped by four per cent.

Regarding employment, 98 per cent of Greeks (-1 per cent compared to the previous Eurobarometer) characterise the situation as bad, while the EU average was 74 per cent (-4 per cent).
