Norway grants 12M euro to aid Bulgarian civil society
Norway is providing 12 million euro to strengthen civil society in Bulgaria, Norwegian ambassador Guro Katharina Vikor said on June 10 2013.
The funds are provided through the European Economic Area financial mechanism and the Norwegian financial mechanism.
In the 2009/14 timeframe, Bulgaria is receiving 126.6 million euro, with most resources, 43 million euro, to be absorbed in the “green economy”.
Support for justice and home affairs comes up to 16 million euro, for the preservation of cultural and natural heritage 14 million euro has been set aside and for the health sector, there is 13.4 million euro.
