Medvedev offers Temelin promises
The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has promised Czech companies will secure orders worth billions of euros if the Czech-Russian consortium bidding for the tender to build two new reactors at the Temelin nuclear power plant is chosen.
He made his comments during a visit to Russia by his Czech counterpart, Petr Nečas, who arrived May 26 for a four-day trip.
A Czech-Russian consortium that includes Moscow-based Atomstroyexport is one of the two remaining bidders for the $10 billion contract to enlarge Temelín.
