AmCham Bulgaria raises 57 000 leva for charity with Thanksgiving dinner

The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Bulgaria said on November 22 that it has raised 57 000 leva at its Thanksgiving community dinner. The funds would be used to fund highschool and university scholarships for orphans, employment initiatives for disadvantaged youth and AmCham’s Get ready to Succeed project.

The funds were collected by silent auction of artwork, holiday deals and gifts, provided by AmCham’s members and supporters.

Additionally, AmCham members and individual donors provided funding for scholarships worth 32 000 leva, with contributions made by Dundee Precious Metals, UniCredit Bulbank, AES Bulgaria, ContourGlobal, Fama Consulting, Vivacom, Amgen Bulgaria, CMS Cameron McKenna, Kempinski Zografski Sofia
