Pussy Rioter wants a ‘thought revolution’

As a recently freed member of the jailed punk-rock trio Pussy Riot vows to continue protesting against Russian authorities, observers in the country are speculating on what her release signifies for the future of the high-profile case.

Pussy Riot member Yekaterina Samutsevich was released on probation during a Moscow court hearing Oct. 10. Two other members of the all-female band, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, are to serve the two-year sentence as ordered.
