Bulgaria’s Brestovitsa village hosting wine festival
The second annual “Brestovitsa – grapes and wine” festival is being held on September 14 and 15 2012 in the village, nearPlovdiv, local media said.
Kremena Tsankova, organiser of the event, was quoted by the Plovdiv24.bg website as saying that this year the festival marks the start of the grape harvesting season and will include presentations and tastings of various types of grapes and wines, for which the village is well-known, as well as other grape products, such as fresh juice and sweets.
There will also be a crafts market and a musical entertainment programme.
