Bulgaria to spend five million leva on marketing tourism
Bulgaria’s Cabinet has instructed the Finance Ministry to pay five million leva (about 2.5 million euro) to the Economy, Energy and Tourism Ministry for an international marketing and advertising campaign to promote the country’s tourism business.
This emerged after a meeting of the Cabinet on June 20 2012. The money will come out of a sum earmarked in the 2012 Budget.
The money will be spent on participation in international tourism fairs, on campaigns, media and specialist tours and on working meetings and seminars, the Government said.
