Bulgarian Navy removes drone found near Cape Kaliakra
The Bulgarian Navy inspected and removed a drone found near Cape Kaliakra on September 6, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement on September 7.
A specialist team from the Varna Naval Base was activated in the late afternoon of September 6 after a report from the Interior Ministry about a drone observed 3.5 cables (648.2 metres) northeast of Cape Kaliakra.
After conducting reconnaissance and identifying the drone as safe, it was transported to the base area, the Defence Ministry said.
