Bulgaria’s Vitosha to officially open ski season on December 26

The official start of the ski season on Bulgaria’s Vitosha mountain, on the outskirts of capital city Sofia, will be on December 26, according to the Vitosha Ski official website.

On December 21, 22 and 23, the Mecha Polyana ski slope and the transport lane serving it will be open, the website said.

Information about prices for the 2024/25 season is available on the Vitosha Ski website.

Bulgaria’s mountain resort of Borovets has posted on its website the statuses of its slopes.

Bansko’s ski area opened on December 6, with the official opening following on December 14.

Pamporovo opened officially on December 7.

Its website said that the Stoykite 1 slope was opening as of December 20, while showing eight lifts and seven slopes open. The official website has posted prices for the 2024/25 season.
