Charity sale of works by Bulgarian artists in aid of Ukraine

A charity sale of works by well-known Bulgarian artists, entitled “Україна Forever!” is being held in the Espace PORT A gallery at 5 Triaditsa Street in Sofia until March 19 and online from March 20 to April 30.

The organisers guarantee that 100 per cent of the proceeds will be used to buy and deliver aid to Ukraine, through Manol Peykov – well-known for his fundraising initiatives – and the Ukraine Support and Renovation Foundation.

The works include those by Ivan Hadzhiyski, Lyuben Zidarov, Yassen Gyuzelev, Gredi Assa, Stanislav Belovski, Anna Georgieva, Dido Peshev and Christo Komarnitsky, as well as more than 50 other names from the Bulgarian art world.

The gallery is open on March 17 until 8pm, and on March 18 and 19 from noon until 8pm.

From March 20, the works will be available for purchase via the page of co-organiser the Elephant Bookstore: https://www.elephantbookstore.com/ukraineforever.
