Eurostat: Unemployment in Bulgaria in December 2022 was 4%
Unemployment in Bulgaria in December 2022 was four per cent, down from 3.9 per cent in November 2022 and from 4.6 per cent in December 2021, European Union statistics agency Eurostat said on February 1, citing seasonally-adjusted figures.
Eurostat said that in December 2022, unemployment in the EU was 6.1 per cent, unchanged from November and down from 6.4 per cent in December 2021.
In the euro zone, unemployment in December 2022 was 6.6 per cent, unchanged from November and down from seven per cent in December 2021.
Youth unemployment in Bulgaria in December 2022 was 11.2 per cent, up from 10.9 per cent in November 2022 and down from 14.4 per cent in December 2021.
In the EU, youth unemployment in December 2022 was 15 per cent, up from 14.8 per cent in November and up from 14.4 per cent in December 2021.
In the euro zone, youth unemployment in December 2022 was 14.8 per cent, unchanged from November and up from December 2021, Eurostat said.
