World Health Organization: No evidence cats and dogs can spread new coronavirus

There is no evidence that dogs and cats can be infected with the new coronavirus, the World Health Organization said in its “mythbusters” section.

WHO was responding to fake news spread via social networks and a number of media reports that relied on wholly unreliable sources.
