Bulgarian Posts temporarily stops courier shipments to US, China and South Korea
Bulgarian Posts has temporarily stopped accepting courier shipments to the United States, China – with the exception of Hong Kong – and South Korea.
In a notice on its website on December 16, the company said that it was suspending the service temporarily because of expected congestion at some international airports because of the holidays and a forthcoming Lufthansa strike.
The congestion was expected to affect the delivery of incoming and outgoing international post, parcel and courier shipments.
The delays were expected to continue in the coming days, Bulgarian Posts said, apologising for the inconvenience and not specifying when the courier shipment service would resume.
