5 Richter scale earthquake near Greece’s Thessaloniki felt in Bulgaria
An earthquake in the early hours of November 19 and measuring five on the Richter scale, epicentred about 40km north of the Greek city of Thessaloniki, was felt in Bulgaria and Macedonia.
The earthquake had a depth of four km and took place at 1.22am on November 19, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The epicentre was 10km west of Kristóni in Greece and 157km south-east of Skopje.
There were no reports of victims or serious damage, media reports said.
