Up to three years’ imprisonment for using term Polish death camps

The Polish government will delegalize terms such as “Polish death camps” in reference to concentration camps run by Nazi German authorities in occupied Poland during World War 2, according to a bill adopted on August 16 2016.

According to the original draft of the law prepared by the Ministry of Justice the proposed maximum penalty for the authors of such statements is three years’ imprisonment.
