14th night of protests in Skopje

The 14th protest in a row was held on the night of April 27 in Skopje, where protesters demanded the postponement of the June 5 elections and the abrogation of the decision for the amnesty granted to politicians decreed by president of the country Gjorge Ivanov.

In front of the government building, protesters held photos of the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, accompanied with the inscription “mob” and of Ivanov with the inscription “amnesty”. These photos were then painted in colour, symbolising the protests which are now known as the “Diverse Revolution”.

Among others, protesters chanted “Resignation, Resignation”.

Several days ago, subject to the protesters’ painting were ministries, the president’s building and the “Skopje 2014” project’s monuments.
