Sofia Airport cancels Brussels Zaventem – Sofia flights on March 25 – 27

Sofia Airport announced the latest cancellations of flights linking Sofia and Brussels on March 25, 26 and 27 2016, a result of the terrorist attacks at Zaventem Airport in the Belgian capital on March 22.

The cancelled flights are, on March 25, Bulgaria Air’s FB407A from Brussels to Sofia, that had been scheduled for 5.40pm, and FB408A, that had been scheduled for 11.55pm.

Wizz Air flights linking Sofia and Charleroi Airport in Brussels on March 25 would go ahead as scheduled, Sofia Airport said.

Bulgaria Air’s March 26 flights to Brussels at 6.10am and from Brussels at 12.30pm were cancelled, as were the March 27 flights to Brussels at 6pm and from Brussels at 11.55pm.

Brussels Airport said on its website that there would be no flights until March 27 inclusive because forensic investigations following the terrorist attacks were still underway.
